10 items

A 10-item short form of the Big Five Inventory measuring the five major personality dimensions (Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism, Openness). Two items per trait.

Scoring

Items 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 are reverse-scored (subtract from 6). Extraversion: mean(6-item1, item6). Agreeableness: mean(item2, 6-item7). Conscientiousness: mean(6-item3, item8). Neuroticism: mean(6-item4, item9). Openness: mean(6-item5, item10).
